Greensboro police identify victim in fatal shooting

GREENSBORO, N.C. – One man is dead after a shooting in Greensboro on Saturday, according to the Greensboro Police Department.

Christopher Stephen Onley, 29, of Greensboro, has been identified as the victim in what police are now investigating as a homicide.

Authorities were called to the area of Flint Street and Berryman Street at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday in reference to a shooting call.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died. Police have not released any possible suspect information or details surrounding the incident.
